Agricultural Irrigation Technology Solutions in Southeastern US States Including Florida, North Carolina & Texas
Our broad range of solutions includes automation, soil moisture sensors, alternative citrus growing methods, and more.
Technology is changing the agricultural irrigation landscape. At Agri Services International, we're changing with it. Our team embraces new technology because we believe it will help us help our clients more effectively. We understand the pressure farmers face due to increasing demands and diminishing resources. To meet these challenges, you must figure out how to do more with less, working smarter rather than working harder. Innovation has become imperative.
That's why we offer a broad range of agricultural irrigation technology solutions to clients in Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and other southeastern US states, including Virginia, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina. These solutions include automation, soil moisture sensors, alternative citrus growing methods, self-cleaning filters, and water efficiency systems. Each technology solution enhances your irrigation process and promotes sustainability.
Automation
Automating your agricultural irrigation system removes the hassle of watering your crops. You no longer have to turn your system on and off manually. Rather, you just have to schedule it to water your crops at set times and then let the automation system take care of the rest. If you need to adjust your irrigation schedule, you can control it remotely through an app on your phone with the touch of a button. At Agri Services International, we can automate new irrigation systems during installation or retrofit your existing system at any time.
Soil Moisture
Soil moisture sensors do exactly what their name suggests — they monitor how much moisture is in the soil. Based on that information, the sensors can tell your automated irrigation system to turn on or remain off. The sensors are programmed to know how much water your crops need to flourish and will only activate your irrigation system when your crops require hydration. We use soil moisture sensor software from BMP Logic that collects real-time data to inform your decisions, ensuring prudent water usage.
C.U.P.S.
C.U.P.S. is an acronym for citrus under protective screen. This refers to a growing method we pioneered in response to the citrus greening disease that has afflicted Florida's citrus industry. In partnership with the Dundee, FL Citrus Growers Association and Precision Citrus LLC, we assisted with their effort to successfully grow citrus trees under a large protective screen that guarded them from disease-spreading insects. The trees received water and nutrients through an automated precision irrigation and control system that was custom-designed for the project. This innovative approach to growing proved that there is a feasible alternative to traditional growing practices.
The Irrigation Association awarded our team at Agri Services International the 2021 Vanguard Award for innovation in recognition of the C.U.P.S. project.
VACLEEN
At Agri Services International we are the exclusive distributor of Olson VACLEEN filters in Florida and Georgia. These premium stainless steel water filters operate automatically and are self-cleaning. They can filter silt, scale, sand, rust, dirt, algae, and other types of organic material from almost any type of water source. Olson VACLEEN filters significantly improve your water quality and are a worthwhile investment.
Aequion
We can add an Aequion EMOH modular system to your agricultural irrigation system. This modular system improves water efficiency and introduces dissolved oxygen that your crops can easily absorb. EMOH systems reduce water usage, increase yields, and are easily integrated into your existing agricultural irrigation system. They are also low-maintenance and come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
