We are looking to add an irrigation automation technician to our team. The person in this position will be responsible for the installation and service of precision irrigation components.
Our office is located in Fort Pierce, FL. All applicants must live in the Fort Pierce area or in a nearby location like Fort Pierce North, Fort Pierce South, White City, or Lakewood Park.
Irrigation Automation Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist in initial project installation including electrical programming, computer programming, and set up
- Provide remote support and local support to customers on all precision irrigation related products
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair any system components or equipment as needed
- Complete all required product-specific training and maintain up-to-date product knowledge
- Maintain accurate time logs and site-specific notes for all services performed
- Work with customers, management, and the sales team to develop appropriate service programs
Applicant Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer knowledge
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, basic hydraulics, electrical systems, and wiring
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Willingness to travel
