Controls Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical circuitry and safety, with at least 2 years of experience in VFD, PLC, and HMI. Knowledge of pump stations and irrigation systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Our office is located in Fort Pierce, Florida. All applicants must live in Fort Pierce or in a nearby area such as Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Vero Beach, or Lakewood Park.
What You’ll Do as a Controls Technician:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain VFD, PLC, and HMI systems.
- Ensure all electrical circuits and components are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in various systems.
- Collaborate with the team to improve system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
In Order To Qualify for the Controls Technician Position, You Must Have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with VFD, PLC, and HMI.
- A basic understanding of electrical circuitry and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
