Irrigation Pump Foreman

We are looking to add an Irrigation Pump Foreman to our team. This team member will be responsible for leading a crew in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing turbine and submersible pump systems.
This position is open at both of our branches, one in Lake Wales, FL, and the other in Fort Pierce, FL. All Irrigation Pump Foreman applicants must live in the Lake Wales or Fort Pierce areas or in a nearby city like Lakeland, Winter Haven, Port St. Lucie, or Vero Beach.
Irrigation Pump Foreman Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, evaluate, and repair turbine and submersible pump systems, as well as rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, etc.
- Repair or replace defective parts, mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, wear rings, O-rings, gaskets, and impellers
- Oversee and assist with the removal and re-installation of customers’ pumps and equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on customers’ equipment and systems
- Document necessary information on work orders such as pump information, motor information, cause of failure, parts required, and a description of the problem
- Safely use and operate shop equipment such as a band saw, drill press, hydraulic press, power tools, surface grinder, jib cranes, bridge cranes, etc.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed
- Observe all safety policies and procedures
Irrigation Pump Foreman Applicant Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps
- Must have a CDL license
Pay
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $32 per hour
